It's Ok. It's eyewash. It does what it's supposed to do.I found this product in New Zealand but it's actually made in the UK. Found here at Amazon, as it's not sold in America in the stores, that I know of. For about 6 months I was suffering from red eyes all the time and also dry eyes. I was told to quit using eye drops, because they actually (eventually) make your red eye issues worse and are not good for you. This Optrex Eye Wash however, is healthy and good for your eyes. Within 2nd day of trying it, my red eyes were cured and I have been using it ever since. I bought 2 bottles for 19.99 I believe, a great deal. They came in large glass bottles and store nicely because of that. I feel like anything in plastic is not good. Best eye product I've ever used.This product is called Optrex, it is a French brand that has specialized in eyes care for decades. This product is great if you need an eye bath; the 16oz bottle contains among other ingredients cornflower water that is known to relief eye irritations or fatigue for example. If you use computers a lot then it is good to pour a little bit of it on a coton to let it then rest on your eyes for 10 or 15 min before sleeping. It really relaxes you. It is good in case of dust or particles in your eyes too. You need to know that once opened this product has a limited life of 4 weeks and it should be conserved at a temp inferior to 77 F.This product is one of the best products I tried. I definitely recommend it and will reorder it myself. It is gentle and fresh without any irritations, since it does not contain any smell or mint. If you frequently wear makeup and use makeup remover, it is good for removing rest of particles both outside and inside your eyes after you wash your face. I use a computer a lot, so I apply it almost every day. It really cleans and relaxes eyes. The only disadvantage of this product is that the shipping is a little slow since it ships from Britain.My mother used this on my eyes when i was a kid and was happy to find it on Amazon. I DO call BS on the rising price, which has doubled over the past three years.I get dry, itchy eyes that feel like they are full of hot sand. I’ve tried numerous lubricating and allergy eye drops that help some. I have used Collirium eye wash for years and decided to order this on a whim. Imagine that you are covered in sand and sweat and you dive into a cool, clear pool of water on an incredibly hot day. That’s the closest description I can think of for how this feels to my eyes. Gritty, burning feeling is gone instantly. Vision-blurring mucus is instantly washed away too. I love how the cup fits on the top of the bottle too.I use this product to clean my persian cats eyes, and it works very well. I bought more to clean my own eyes, because it really helps with dryness.Big bottle, will last along time for consistent cleaning. Ill probably do it once every 2 weeks depending how my eyes feel. Surprised how much junk I had in my eyes. Recommend for people who use contact lenses.... Obviously take them out first. Don't be concerned if your eyes water for awhile afterwards, it's just you eyes getting rid of all the build up.I've given one star rating because it was very well packaged. If I'm honest at first inspection it didn't look genuine.There was no box or eye bath, hence my suspicions. It MAY be genuine but it looks like something Del boy and Rodney would sell from a suitcase in the market place. I returned the product for a refund. I'm sorry to be so harshIn my review, perhaps someone had a difficult day with fulfilling my order, I hope for their sake it won't be repeated.One of my eyes started developing a lesion on the surface, and then over the course of a day the entire went almost solid red. No idea what caused this, but reading on the internet it's a fairly common condition, and usually harmless unless it persists.But after using this a few times a day, my bloodshot eye cleared up in just a few days (instead of the 2 weeks the medical sites were suggesting)Maybe that's coincidence, so I cant claim this eye wash helped accelerate the recovery, but at the very least, it did help soothe it a lot in the meantime. I'd definitely buy this again, but the bottle is SO big.I think they could just sell a 100ml bottle and even that would have been too much.My eyes tend to get very dry and irritated after sitting in front of a computer all day. I started using this eye wash after looking for something that could alleviate the uncomfortable feeling. It was a little tricky to use at first (you have to keep your eyes open and let the liquid freely flow over whilst not spilling it) but I got the hang of it within few days. My eyes feel more relaxed and I don't get the burning sensation at the end of the day anymore. Good product overall.Great for my how are you fever eyes.No driving. Nice and soothing.I keep it inbox in the fridge for extra cool effect. Have bought three so far so would highly recommend .Can buy it cheaper but I would be expensive taxi journeys to do so ,Therefore the bit extra here is still a saving to me if that makes sense .
