Oh gawd. What did I do??? $9.99 - total of $21.24 for two of these, with taxes - spent on what looked like a decent - not luxury, but decent enough - hand towel. Bought two - for a small gift to a cousin who just finished construction and tiling her new bathroom. Beautiful fixtures-with high end finishes and a lovely narrow band of iridescent tile; she was calling it her "mermaid" sanctuary. Trying to find towels to send her - and I came across these. Without any ratings I took a chance because the one photo showed a low pile, but definitely terry - fabric. Lordy. LOOK AT THIS ON A LARGER SCREEN; it is ghastly. Not good enough for dish towels, as they are not cotton - and I should have been clued in right there. These are not good enough for wiping up cat barf. Nasty white borders, sewn on a serger. MY MISTAKE - so don't do what I did. Sending back asap.
